Aussie basketballer Andrew Gaze played a shopping 22 season in the NBL with the Melbourne Tigers and has been described as one of the greatest players Australia has ever produced. He won the league’s MVP award 7 times, guided the Tigers to two NBL championships and also led the Australian national team, the Boomers, to five Summer Olympics. Andrew was inducted into the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2005, after becoming a member of the Order of Australia in 2002. He is without a doubt, one of our all time sporting legends.
