Formed in 1981, Hunters and Collectors were a firm favourite in pubs and venues around Australia before finding success with chart-topping albums such as Ghost Nation (1989), Cut (1992), and Demon Flower (1994). With crowd favourites such as “Talking to a Stranger” (1982), “Throw Your Arms Around Me” (1984), “When the River Runs Dry” (1989), “True Tears of Joy” (1992), and “Holy Grail” (1993) they achieved cult status were admitted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005.
