Australian country singer-songwriter Kasey Chambers has music running through her veins. Her parents Diane and Bill Chambers are both musicians, as is her sister Nash. In fact, the family formed country music group Dead Ringer Band from 1992 to 1998, before Kasey started her solo career. Chambers is one of our most popular music singers and songwriters in Australia’s history, having successfully brought country music into the mainstream. She has had five albums reach number 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2018. Not only that, but she has won the ARIA award for Best Country Music a whopping 9 times! Her autobiography, A Little Bird Told Me…, which was co-authored with music journalist, Jeff Apter, was released in 2011.
