Lleyton Hewitt

Former world number 1 Lleyton Hewitt became the youngest male in the ATP era to reach the top ranking in 2001 – aged just 20 years, 8 months and 26 days. On court he was known for his tenacity and determination, frequently coming from behind to defeat tough opponents. Since retiring he coached Australia’s David Cup team and acted as a mentor to up and coming players of the next generation and is part of the commentating team for the Australian Open.
